Four distinct cemeteries lie at the west end of Second Street and collectively have been awarded a National Register of Historic Places designation. The Del Rio Cemeteries Historic District includes the three gated cemeteries, Masonic, Westlawn, and Sacred Heart, and the St. Joseph Cemetery adjacent to Sacred Heart.
